Joan Denise Moorhouse

Town Councillor – Tuxford Town Council

I have lived in Tuxford for over 35 years with my late husband Trevor Moorhouse, my Children and Grandchildren. Over the years my husband, along with other members of the community strived to bring Sport to the Town. In his lifetime this was never achieved, but it is one of our Council Aims to rectify this.

I also sit on several Committees including the PPG, Chair the Parish Forum, Executive Committee NALC and the NHS Citizens Panel.

My hobbies include Travelling at home and abroad, I umpire League Rounders and walking my Jack Russel Tilly.

I am a member of the Finance and Services, Personnel and Planning Committees
